Michael is a senior at MSU dual-majoring in Chemical Engineering and Biological Engineering. His undergraduate research is focused on characterization of the extracellular matrix of biofilms. He is using the bacteria Bacillus subtilis as a model organism, with particular interest in the contributions of various excreted polymers to the overall mechanics of the system. Michael is from Boulder, Colorado.
